Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette Review

Hello folksickles, today I'm reviewing a palette that I had no intentions of getting my hands on, ironically enough. After purchasing the Naked 3 palette my wanderlust for the Naked franchise somewhat plateaud and I just found myself unenthused and somewhat craving color. That said one of my good friends passed this along to me and upon having swatched it I'm actually quite excited to play with it. Behold the Naked Smokey Palette
Availability: So unfortunately this has been discontinued.
Would I buy this?: I'm not sure
Notes: I think this is such a beautiful palette and is very versatile as well. Although it's called smokey and has a lot of smokey colors in it the lighter matte shades lend themselves to creating an every day eye with the shimmery shades allowing you to make that everyday eye sparkle and still not be dark. That said the darker smokey shades are there for you when you're feeling a bit dangerous. :P I also really love the layout of this palette with the sparkly, smokey, and matte shades being separated as it kind of draws the eye to each section and makes it easier to know which section to stick to for your chosen texture.
I'll speak a bit about the packaging before I show you the shades - this comes in acrylic packaging with the top having a smoke pattern underneath the embossed palette name and the bottom has the same smokey pattern but is actually see-through so you see the metal pans. I do feel it's a tad bit bulky but other than that my feelings on the packaging are neutral.
I also have to tell you that each pan here is a .05 oz, the same as a full-sized Urban Decay eyeshadow which currently retail at $19 each. Meaning if you were to buy each shadow separately, the palette would cost you $228.

Without further ado, swatchfest!
High is described as a pale pink-nude shimmer with micro-sparkle. I'd say the description is fairly accurate, this has golden micro-glitter in it.
Dirtysweet is described as a medium bronze. I'd describe it as a soft muted metallic bronze.
Radar is described a metallic taupe with iridescent micro-sparkleI'd say it's a very nude, tan with a taupe pearl along with pink and silver-white micro-glitter.
Armor is described as a metallic silver-taupe with tonal micro-sparkle. I'd say this is a warm taupe base with an intense silvery gunmental pearl and silver micro-glitter.
Slanted is described as a light metallic grayI'd have to agree with the description here.
Dagger is described as a medium charcoal with micro-shimmer. I'd say this is a true gunmetal with a soft silver pearl and silver micro-shimmer.
Black Market is described as a jet-black satin. The description here is pretty on-point.
Smolder is described as a deep plum-taupe. This is a taupe base with a pinky plum pearl throughout. I'd say it's probably my favorite shade in the palette because it's so unique.
Password is described as a cool taupe matte. Agreed.
Whiskey is described as a rich brown matteI'd say it's a mid-tone cool brown.
Combust is described as a soft pink-taupe. This is a very muted, heavily beige-y slightly pink nude taupe.
Thirteen is described as a light beige satinI'd have to agree with a description, this is so light as to be something of an off-white, I love it for highlighting the brow-bone and inner corner.

Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

DisclaimerMy friend gave this to me for Christmas. :)
