Oddly I feel this past month went by slowly instead of too fast, which is usually the case. I think it might be because exams are slowly getting closer and closer and I, personally, would just like them to get here so I can be done with them already. March is one of those in-between months and so my makeup and skincare needs have been a bit back and forth and will probably be a bit for April as well. Here are the favourite products I used in March.
Batiste Dry Shampoo for medium & brunette hair
I love the normal Batiste Dry Shampoo except for the awkward white cast it leaves and so this was an obvious buy when that one ran out. This is undetectable on my hair which is absolutely perfect. What I didn't expect was that it also works better on my hair than the original one. The original one is a great dry shampoo, but this one is even better. I can use this two days in a row and my hair still feels amazing and almost like I just washed it. It also keeps working and so I don't have to re-apply it during the day or evening. Absolutely amazing - will be sticking to this one for.. forever!
Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting Moisturizer with Mangosteen
You've all heard this talked about before, I'm sure. It was getting a lot of coverage from the beauty bloggers and youtubers I think last year. I got a sample of this when picking up my latest tub of Origins Night Health and was quite excited as I was always keen to try it out. I never expected to like it as much. It's not to be confused with a tinted moisturiser, I think. It doesn't cover much at all and it's not really something you can build up. I don't really see it as makeup. This just gives a slight tint and slight evening out of the skintone whilst giving an amazing glow! I LOVE this for days when I'm not really doing anything but are leaving the house to go for a walk, buying groceries or other non-formal things like that. Will definitely be buying the full size of this when the sample runs out.
OPI I Vant To Be A-Lone Star
I've had this nail polish quite a while, but I always forget to use it. I picked it out this month and fell back in love with it. It's a gorgeous muted baby blue that has a 50's feel. It has a pearly finish, it applies beautifully and has quite decent lasting power. The in-between months are always harder for choosing things such as lipstick and nail colours as you are still wearing your winter wardrobe, but are so excited for spring and summer that your mentally already there. This is a shade perfect for this time as it's not a winter dark, but still not a too bright summer colour.
Dior DiorShow Maximiser Lash Plumping Serum
I'd been wanting to try this stuff out for ages, but never really got around to it. If it wasn't for Dior giving it to me to try I probably wouldn't have for another few years. So happy I finally tried it though, as this stuff is seriously amazing. I don't think I can go back to not using a lash primer now. It does definitely help condition lashes. It's the same formula they have in their Extase mascara, and when using that I've definitely always noticed my lashes being in better condition. The DiorShow Maximiser also gives instant results by making your lashes 30% (my estimation) longer and fuller.
Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara in 10 Noir - click here for review -
I've just posted a review on this this month and so I won't go into too much detail in order to not repeat myself. In short; this is absolutely fabulous! One of the best mascaras I've tried in a long time. Gives amazing length, volume and just drama all over the place! Try this!Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm
I know, how boring, another blogger raving about this product. But it really is just amazing. My skin has been getting progressively better and better the last 6 months and when I just thought it was in really good shape using the Soap & Glory Hot Cloth Cleanser, this Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm made it even better.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Xerand Hand Repair Cream
Finally; a hand cream. After my Kanebo Sensai Cellular Performance Intensive Hand Treatment SPF 8 ran out I was struggling to keep my hands soft and well moisturised, without the greasy feeling. I picked this up and have been using it mostly at night. It's amazing. It moisturizes extremely well, yet the formula is really light and sinks in really quickly. If you've got dry hands, or just hands really; you'll love this!
