So I decided that since I had a few buildings that were not quite complete I'd bump them up a bit in my painting order since they're going to be part of one of the Cold Wars games Jon and I are running. It's funny to consider that weathering a building is considered an improvement in this hobby, but there you have it.
After painting I added a flag and a few posters. There's also an Arafat poster that didn't make it into the photos.
My first attempt at the building sized Bashir Gemayel poster ended in failure (actually, several did). First they weren't the length of the building, then when I did get the size right the PVA I used was watery and bled the colors on my Inkjet print job.
This time I got it right, I sprayed the print out with some decal set and used full strength PVA. Before you say that this poster is unrealistic, you should do some googling. This particular example was from a LIFE magazine picture of Bashir on the front of a building facade that is three stories tall. If you've seen "Waltzing with Bashir" or happen to be from Lebanon you know his image was everywhere in 1982.
