IHOP Commercial: 1969

Here is one of the weirdest old school commercials I've seen in some time. It's a 1969 TV spot for the popular pancake restaurant IHOP. This one has all kinds of madness written on it and so many questions. Why are they running to the place with balloons? Where do they park their balloons? The music and singing is one of the most head scratching things about this commercial, yet it's the most alluring to me. It's like some little ghoulish imp is singing... possibly tipsy off a malt liquor/high fructose syrup mix. Watch and listen and see if you don't find yourself rewinding for a second viewing.
